This week we say a fond farewell to Steph. She’s decided to retire as a junctioneer, and we’ll miss her a lot. But she’s promised to join us when she can on the challenges, so that makes us happy! Thanks Steph for all the fabulous challenges you sent our way, we’ll miss you.
And for the challenge this week–journal in someone else’s voice. Interview someone, pull out an old letter from someone special and use that for your journaling, use song lyrics, there are many ways to approach this. Heather used an exit interview her son’s preschool provided her, Viv went short and sweet with her daughter’s comments on a bath, I used Simple Scrapbooks Shortcuts with Quizzes and Questions. But that didn’t work out designwise, so I ended up using my son’s card to me for Mother’s Day. Super sweet! So try it out–hopefully you don’t have to think as much this week!

I tend to crop pictures so I can focus on the subject at hand. This week, pull out a picture or two and DON’T crop it! Find something in the background and journal about it. Tell the story that only you would know, the story behind the picture that might get lost if you didn’t journal about it today. We’ve all looked at this challenge in different ways but each of us have come up with the perfect example of this. So go ahead and look a little deeper at your pictures this week–find the story that only you can share. And have fun with it!
